XCOR, Queensday, Visitors, Skrillex & Pretty Lights, Soccer

Before reading the new blog, hereby a link for some background music. It is a mix I made in April for my bi-monthly radioshow on Proton Radio.

XCOR:
The first week of April my parents visited Los Angeles. It only took my mom a couple of days to see the beauty of California to say she could easily live here. Lovely to see her enjoy the environment I started to love from the day I arrived.
My dad has recently been involved in finding investors for the Space Expedition Curacao - an expedition where private organizations and persons are able to travel into space.
As we speak they are building the shuttle in the Mojave desert here in California. Since my dad is involved we were invited to have an inside look. What an amazing experience this was @ XCOR. Unbelievable to see a small shuttle which will fly into space by the end of 2013. You could be in there, just bring $ 95.000 to the table...

The final day of my parents visit it was me and my dad together. We visited the impressive Getty Museum, if you have some time when you are in LA definitely visit this museum: The J. Paul Getty Museum seeks to further knowledge of the visual arts and to nurture critical seeing by collecting, preserving, exhibiting and interpreting works of art of the highest quality.
In Los Angeles it houses European paintings, drawings, sculpture, illuminated manuscripts, decorative arts, and European and American photographs.

The end of the day we watched the last holes and play-off of The Masters, with a happy Bubba Watson as winner. Congratulations!
To finish this father & son day we had an Easter dinner @ Nobu.

Venice Visitors:
Before heading to Los Angeles some people told me to meet Martijn Fock. It took some time but early April Nina Markus and I were invited to have dinner at his place together with his wife Marrit. Martijn is a good cook & we had a lot of fun. Martijn, also thank you very much for the introduction to Simone Benyacar. Hopefully a bright future is ahead of us :)

Nina & I finished the night in downtown at the Rooftop bar of The Standard Hotel, where Jonna van Kampen was staying. She was a couple of days in LA for some Adidas shootings @ LA Galaxy
Jonna's phone was temporary stolen, fortunately the drunk guys who were sitting next to us were honest enough to return her phone to the front desk...

Next visitor was my cousin Niels van der Kloot. After some cool nights in New York where he lives (see my previous blog), it now was time to go out in Los Angeles. We enjoyed a few drinks at the famous Whaler bar, an old friend of Niels joined us. Parker Detchon is an artist living in Venice and a very nice dude.
After dinner we ended in The Other Room (very nice bar @ Abbot Kinney in Venice) with Parker and his new girlfriend.

Who would have thought we see each other within a month in 2 major cities in the USA - where we are both living! Crazy!

This get together with my cousin was extra special, since my girlfriend Anne heard that day she will start her surgical traineeship from July 2012 onwards. Unfortunately we were not able to celebrate this together, so Niels and I did ;)

April 14th Anton Tumas invited me to join him to a private party in the Valley, a birthday of one of the organizers of Lightning in a Bottle. Anton had to play here as well and when he was finished we went to a secret warehouse party where DAVI was playing. After years of email contact, finally our first meeting. Thank you for the Music!

April 18th Roos Afman and her boyfriend Mike Dodeman were in LA. We started with some drinks at The Other Room, followed by dinner @ Gjelina (a celebrity spot in Venice). Since we had so much fun and the night wasn't over yet, we went to Basement Tavern where Roos was enjoying the US Folk Music played by a live band while Mike & I were enjoying our Bacardi-coke's at the bar.
Friday night Roos & Mike were invited for a bowling birthday of a friend of Roos and they invited me to join. Before we had a very nice dinner at an established Italian Restaurant named Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, with a dessert that made our night!

This same weekend I moved to an apartment almost on the beach. Since my girlfriend will be in Venice from May 7th onwards, we preferred to have something for ourselves instead of sharing a room.
Jillian, thank you for my stay at your house. You have taken care of me and learned me the beginner tricks in Venice!

Queensday:
Before my trip to Los Angeles, things I thought I would miss most were (of course) my girlfriend, friends, family and…Queensday! April 30th is the day The Netherlands celebrate the queens birthday; a day everyone wears ORANGE while celebrating the queens birthday together during the day & night. The canals are full with boats and party people.
For years we celebrate this with a group of friends on the boat named KOEL. This year we also planned an afterparty @ Werck called: AFKOELER. Since I was supposed to be in Los Angeles, I would have missed this for the 1st time. A month before Queensday, the organization had the splendid plan to buy my ticket instead of paying an extra DJ. We decided to keep it secret for everyone involved, so I was the surprise act. It was an amazing day!!

Special thanks to my buddies Adriaan Gast, Douwe van den Broek (+ Martine van den Berg for staying at your apartment during my visit!), Hein Meurer, Jan-Joost van Suchtelen, Jeroen Koops, Marnix de Haas and Peter Kan for this idea and giving me the opportunity to celebrate Qday with my friends!!

During my quick 5 day Amsterdam visit I did a lot. It was kind of strange to be a tourist in the city I live in.
It wouldn't have been a real visit without a beer at my local bar Bouwman! At, we will be back in July for a full night like we used to do it ;)

2 days before Queensday, Skrillex & Pretty Lights were playing in The Heineken Music Hall and The Melkweg. Together with Rogier van Twuijver, Peter Kan & Carlos Artiles we went to experience this next generation EDM Dubstep style. Well…the show was amazing, look at this footage we made in the HMH...

At the afterparty in The Melkweg Pretty Lights played a very cool DJ-set: the flow, the sounds and the performance were incredible. We will hear a lot more of this dude!!

Before heading back to LA, I spend my last night at my sisters place. Happy to see my niece Julie, my sister Maud (thank you for the Dutch preparation of Asparagus!!) & her boyfriend JB again. Also my aunt Pauline stayed that night to hear all my stories. Was good to see you all again!!

1st Fridays:
Back in LA, together with Fabienne Chapot and her boyfriend Michiel Unger we went to 1st Fridays @ Abbot Kinney in Venice. Fabienne was in LA for her cool brand Fab (feminine, colourful, no-nonsense bags & clutches), to see if they could set up distribution for the States. Hope this will work out for you!

Whenever you are in the LA area on a 1st Friday, try to visit 1st Fridays at Abbot Kinney. Art shops, food trucks and a get together outside on this lovely street. Unfortunately the English language doesn't have a proper translation for the word 'gezellig' (closest is 'cosy'), since that is what it is like. All you Dutchies know what I try to say ;)

Laundry:
In one of the previous blogs I mentioned a car wash experience. Well, last month a 2nd 'wash' experience was added…For the 1st time I went to a public laundry.

Same as the car wash, this is a social place where you have an easy chit-chat and meet people. Within minutes I made new friends, who invited me to a bbq. Maybe this is Venice like, but it is really funny to experience the kindness and open character of all these hippie people.
Next to the laundry is the Whole Foods. While my clothes were being washed, I did my grocery shopping. Easy! Whole Foods is the world's leader in natural and organic foods, with more then 310 stores in North America and the United Kingdom. Can't wait for the moment they will open in The Netherlands. Unfortunately I think this will take some time :(

Follow your dreams:
Later that day I had to dress up for another night out: Marrit Hagenbeek, Martijn Fock and their 1 year old daughter Filippa picked me up to head to The London Hotel for a rooftop sunset beer. Nina, Fab & Michiel joined to have dinner @ Chateau Marmont (thanx for the reservation Roos!!). Very cool & inspiring to be with these people who are all following their dreams in their own way.

Did you know...?
* Highway 405 is a main road between Los Angeles and the Valley. Everyday a lot of people use this road to travel between their homes and work. In 2011 the 405 has been shut down for a while due to work that had to be done. 9 Months later a small baby boom has been noticed…

* Around the corner of the apartment I am currently staying is the old house where Jim Morrison used to live!!

* While watching a soccer match of the LA Galaxy on television, I was surprised by a story of the reporter. Before the match, outside the stadium, a picknick bbq had been organized by the fans of LA Galaxy where they invited the fans of the opponent. WOW, could you imagine this happens in Europe???? Too much hate is going on. I don't want to use this blog to make statements, but respect like this between fans would make life way easier in Europe...

Speaking about soccer…Before leaving to Los Angeles my friend Arnold Reijnders took over my Ajax season ticket. Well done mate, you yelled them to the next Championship victory! Why don't you join us next year?

This blog was written on the beach, being a bit excited for my girlfriend Anne to see her again after 4 months...

Movie trailers, carwash, USA Traveling, Beaming flowers from India

Just before my move to Los Angeles we heard our music was in the
"This Means War" trailer. We had to wait until it was released and in the end we scored the first 10 seconds of the trailer. It is not much but is a start ;)

Carwash:
As a kid growing up and watching US movies, there has always been this 'myth' around the "carwash". Why is this such a happening in the States? For me it was something untouchable.

The first understanding about this 'myth' was a couple of years ago when a Dutch friend who lived in Naples (Florida) told me it was a city code everyone washed their cars once a week. This was a way to express their wealth and to contribute to the city expression.
To encounter in real life, Wednesday morning March 7th I took my car to the carwash in Venice. People...I get it now:
The carwash is an experience, a meeting point, a marketing influenced system. After leaving your car for the carwash you are lead into their store, where you can buy everything you need for your car. There is a coffee corner and the whole carwash you can look what happens with your car thru a window. The Venice carwash is decorated  with monkeys and pirates to make it even more frisky! At the end of the car-wash-street is a massage chair to relax. Hereby a video to share this experience.
LA Nightlife:
Late February and early March gave me some insight of LA nightlife. After dinner with Jody Wisternoff we went to the club on a Wednesday night. We had great fun, only the bouncers were real douchebags. Bad vibe for a club, they should do something about that.

A couple of days later it was time for Guy J, who played a cool set. What a nice guy he is - great to see him again!
The promotor of Guy J was Anton Tumas of Subtract Music with whom I went to a cool underground party where Alex Niggeman & Droog were playing. In LA Electronic Dance Music (EDM) is still very small and underground - so there is still a lot to discover here for the EDM fans & industry.

Anton gave me an experience of a lifetime! He had to play at Moontribe: this is an invite only party that has been going on for 18 years in the Mojave desert; 4-6 times a year during full moon. Started as initiative of a hippy-LA-based community, who tried to keep it small instead of expanding to Burning Man size. Around 250 people, get together and partying in a desert. The most amazing WOW moment was the moment we were standing (or dancing LOL) in this desert and we were exactly between night & day: 1 part of the desert was night with a full moon - the other site of the desert the sun raised. Thank you Anton for this amazing Experience!

Next up was Jonne de Leeuw who came and visit Los Angeles for his new job @ Cyrte. Had great fun and went to dinner in a very cool restaurant,The Eveleigh: definitely want to go back there, good food and a very nice vibe.
While being in the 'going-out mood' - and a lot of friends wanted to attend the same event - the night after we went to Sasha & Guy Gerber at Avalon. Very fun night even though Sasha played to proggy for me. He started great and his last track was cool, but in between he lost me with a sound that was cool 10 years ago. Bummer :(
Guy Gerber picked it up great afterwards, with cool live elements. Unfortunately Avalon has no vibe what so ever among the crowd, even though the venue is impressive.

USA Traveling - New York
March 14 I travelled from LA to New York. Besides several meetings, visiting friends, celebrating St. Patricks day (crazy beer-drinking-green-wearing-Irish) and attending an underground Visionquest party, my main reason was the event we were part of @ Grand Central Station. Tuesday March 20th the Brazilian Bureau of Tourism launched a YouTube channel for the cities involved in the 2014 Soccer World Cup in Brazil. Eboman did a live performance and when he was not on stage, I had to play Brazilian music (quit a challenge if you don't speak Portugese & have no clue what they sing…). Very cool experience though in one of the most impressive buildings of New York.

USA Traveling - Miami
A couple of hours of sleep later I landed @ Miami International Airport for the yearly Miami Winter Music Conference. Accompanied by Dennis Akkaya & Eelke Kleijn we were very fortunate to have an amazing apartment on the 29th floor of a friend of Dennis. Look at this balcony view !!

First night we were invited for the premier of the Ultra Music Festival movie, shot by our Dutch friends from Nachtlab: Final Kid & Dutch Tilt. They did an excellent job, spot on if you ask me for the US market. What we have all been waiting for is the USA to adopt EDM. This movie will definitely be a landmark for the EDM virus the USA will experience. Look at the trailer below and if you have the chance to watch this movie, do it!

Day 2 existed of Luciano @ Shelborne, private event @ Satai of our good friend Carlos Artiles - with a stunning introduction to Alexis Ford

Alexis: "I will be Penthouse pet of June in 2 months"
Dennis: "June is in 3 months"
Alexis: "Uhmm" (while counting her fingers) O yeah, 3 months".

She must be happy she is good in something else…

After Sati we hopped to Cameo where Hernan Cattaneo & John Digweed were spinning. Our final dance of the night was @ Shelborne with Jamie Jones - COOL!!

Day 3 we started @ The Lady Windridge for John Digweeds yearly Yacht party. Always special to cruise thru Miami, cocktail in your hand and listening to nice music. It was our introduction to DJ Jozif, who did an excellent job.
Keep an eye on this guy ;)
The night consisted of a legendary set of both Tale of Us as Thugfucker @ Treehouse. The name of the venue is how it looked like inside: a small square place with wooden walls - as if we were dancing in a Treehouse.

Day 4 we decided to have lunch @ The Mondrian for some rest in our busy schedule. When we arrived we found out there was a pool party going on from 3Plus & Cr2 Records. After lunch no more rest but having fun again with Edo (3Plus) and MYNC & his Cr2 Crew. Thank you for the invite & strawberry Mojito-pitchers, it was great fun!

That night Eelke Kleijn had to play his exclusive Miami gig for Clandestine Artists event @ Euforia. He played a solid set, nice people and great vibe. We recorded the set, in my next Blog I will post a link.
After Eelke Kleijn finished we really enjoyed Miss Kitten playing and singing to the crowd.

Day 5 we were invited to have dinner at Tap Tap, a Haitian restaurant our good friend Randy Reed invites his friends for every last day of the WMC. We were introduced to all kind of goat food and other interesting dishes. After dinner we were invited to join the Cr2 Records crew @ the W hotel and Wall Club.
To finish the week in style we went across the street to Mokai where Carl Cox was playing funk, disco & soul records and everybody was wearing afro wigs. A lot of fun with all the people we partied with all week. Thanx everyone and see you all again in Miami 2013!!

Meanwhile, our work to produce music for US TV-series, movies and movie trailers also proceeds. While in Miami we heard we scored the new "Wrath of the titans trailer". This time all the music was ours LOL

To finish this 3rd blog, some knowledge questions...
Did you know...?

* ...how they call "piepschuim" in the US?

…Peanuts hahaha

* ...what 420 means and where it comes from?
The earliest use of the term began among a group of teenagers in San Rafael, California in 1971. 4:20 p.m. was their meeting time, which ultimately evolved into a codeword the teens used to pot-smoking together: "4:20".
Afterwards, April 20 (4/20 in U.S. date notation) has evolved into a counterculture holiday, where people gather to celebrate and consume cannabis.
And you know what the funny thing is in the movie industry? Every year they look out for the moment which movies plan to be released on April 20th, since this is supposed to be a movie to be watched while being high. Funny USA-marketing...

Applescal - Beaming flowers from India:
Applescal released an album under his alias "Yoshiba 87":
A Strangely Isolated Place: "The endless talents of Applescal take a new twist as he lines up a mini-album under the Yoshiba 87 alias. ‘Beaming Flowers From India’ is a collection of Applescal’s more downbeat and melodic productions."

Xlr8r: "You're the Best Thing Ever (feat. Pien Feith)' sounds like anything other than forgotten leftovers; it's purely evident in the track's finely chopped, handwarped vocal sounds and well-crafted soundscapes that Yoshiba 87's forthcoming record will offer plenty of quality electronic sounds."

Finding your way in Los Angeles

It is already 3,5 weeks now I am living in Los Angeles. To be honest, it is easy to adapt to the Californian lifestyle. Starting to like this!
As promised in the previous blog, I will use this blog to write down what is happening here in Los Angeles during my 5 month stay. Kick of this time is 'project car', so fasten your seat belts!!

                                               Project Car 2

The research for a convertible almost turned into an obsession; I probably visited every car sales website in and around Los Angeles. Finally made a selection and went over for test drives as well as a connection with the car salesmen and their companies. Every piece of the puzzle came together at LA Cars Repo 2, except the website maybe...: a pleasant car salesmen (he still texts me to ask if everything is fine), a solid Saab 900 S convertible, a good price and last but not least...While walking up to my car they played 'Man At Work - Down under', an all time Aussie favorite of me and my girlfriend.

What's happening?
In the process of moving to LA a lot of people introduced me to people they know. Several funny introductions have passed, but this one I definitely want to share with you:

Hey John,
A very cool friend of mine is relocating from Amsterdam to LA for the next 5 months and his interest is to network into gay midget porn! HAHAHAHAH - just kidding.

Thursday February 9th I was invited by the manager of Pretty Lights for the premiere of the Re:Generation Music Project:

FIVE DJs TURN THE TABLES ON THE HISTORY OF MUSIC

Follow DJ Premier, Mark Ronson, Skrillex, Pretty Lights and The Crystal Method as they remix, recreate and re-imagine five traditional styles of music. From the classical perfection of the Berklee Symphony Orchestra to the bayou jams of New Orleans jazz, these five distinctive DJs collaborate with some of today's biggest musicians to discover how our musical past is influencing the future.

The premier was in the amazing Chinese Theater in Hollywood. While watching the documentary I found myself sitting among the artists involved with the project and Tommy Lee, LeAnn Rimes, Erykah Badu and the existing members of The Doors. After the premier we went to an afterparty where I met the talented Eskmo and bumped into Eva Mendes. What a way to start!!

The night ended very funny by the way: since my car was not ready yet, my roommate Jillian gave me her car this night. As you might remember from my previous blog, she is an instructor for Pet-CPR so her car looks like this:

The event was sponsored by Hyundai, there were a lot of limousines and there was valet-parking at the afterparty. While waiting on my car - as everyone else who left the party - I was talking with the guys from The Crystal Method when suddenly this 'dog car' arrived: everyone had a blast and The Crystal Method declared this car to be 'the coolest car of the party' - you have only 1 chance to make a first impression!

Friday February 10th I was invited to go bowling with the crew from CSI:NY. It was a long time ago I did this and definitely not my best shot...

The weekend ended with the birthday of Josephine Vandergun in the Pacific Palisades. Met some great people, played some music and watched the Grammy's. What a great view she has!!

Hein & Nina
Thursday February 16th Hein Meurer & Nina Poot arrived in Los Angeles. After picking them up from the airport we had lunch at Gjelina. Nina was very happy to sit next to Josh Hartnett. After some Santa Monica shopping we had a beer at the rooftop of Hotel Erwin in Venice.
Postponing to go to bed for their jetleg, we had dinner at Sunny Spot with the Deus crew. I was sitting next to a member of Empire of the Sun (again an Aussie favorite): we went for some more drinks afterwards, great guy!!

Friday February 17th we had lunch with Jordi Bouman, who introduced us to Maor Cohen: a very unique designer. That night Deus opened their 1st shop in the US (Venice): very cool place where I will definitely be hanging around the next couple of months.

After a short meeting on Friday with Touriya Haoud & her husband Greg Vaughn we all had dinner together on Saturday night @ Katsuya in Brentwood. We had a lot of fun and hopefully we will meet again soon.

The introduction with Maor Cohen lead to a meeting on Sunday morning again. This took longer then expected, which almost made Hein & Nina miss their flight. Unfortunately I received my first parking ticket but fortunately Hein & Nina made it just on time to get their flight. Thank you two for these exciting and energetic couple of days! Hope to see you both back soon

Funny
O yeah, almost forgot...While sitting on 1 of my favorite spots in Venice, Steve Kardynal asked me to be part of 1 of his legendary YouTube videos, skip to 2.56...

Music
The 1st blog showed the Ringer end scene which featured the track of 'Eelke Kleijn & Astrid Kunst - Cold hands'. Because of the overwhelming requests for this track, we have decided to release it. It will be available on iTunes, Amazon and Spotify soon as well
Listen to the track now by clicking on the picture.

This blog I would like to end with a mix I have made for Proton radio, Groovecollection podcast and for VRIJ Festival, Enjoy!

Welcome to my Blog!

This is the place where I will write down the stories about what is happening during my 5 months visit in Los Angeles, California.

27-01-12
Arrived on LAX Airport. Was a bit nervous since it was the first time I used my renewed US passport (didn't use the old one for 12 years), curious if they would let me in the country. The last couple of years I was used to Miami Airport, so I thought it would take a while to enter the country. Well…the opposite happened: I was allowed to enter as a US citizen, no lines. Quickest customs passing ever in my life. Great start!

Fortunately Jillian (I rent a room at her place in February) picked me up from the airport. First we went to visit her place to leave some of my stuff. Something crazy happened: a motorcycle & clothing company a friend of mine (Hein Meurer) has the license for in the Benelux, Deus Ex Machina, will open in Venice in February. There will be a launch party for this, where I will DJ as the Amsterdam representative.
This store is situated in the same block as Jillian's house where I will stay in February. How crazy is that? You fly 1000's of miles to a place where you have never been before and the 1 gig you have is in the same block where you will be staying…

Anyway. Jillian brought me to my hostel where I stayed the 1st 5 nights before moving to her place: this Hostel is the oldest building of Venice, situated ON the beach.

Background info on Venice:
Venice is like heaven for artists, New Agers, homeless people and free spirits of all stripes. This is where Jim Morrison and The Doors lit their fire, where Arnold Schwarzenegger pumped himself to stardom and where Julia Roberts, Dennis Hopper and Angelica Huston make their homes today.

In front of the hostel is the Venice boardwalk: It's a freak show, a human zoo and a wacky carnival. This is where to get your hair braided, your karma corrected or your back massaged qi gong-style. Encounters with budding Schwarzeneggers, hoop dreamers, a Speedo-clad snake charmer and a roller-skating Sikh minstrel are pretty much guarenteed.

28-01-12
Due to the jetleg I was up early so I started the day with some running on the beach. What a feeling of freedom. Afterwards took the lonely planet to the beach to discover the history and habits of California, Los Angeles and especially Venice.
4 pm Evelien Koole & Saskia van Wijk (2 friends of my girlfriend Anne) arrived. They are on a holiday in California and just came from Las Vegas. We went to the rooftop of hotel Erwin to view the sunset & drink Amstel beers.

Followed with dinner at Joe's, situated at Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Venice (great wines by the way!) before heading to Club Avalon in Hollywood. Very cool theater style built venue with a lot of Asians.
Why did no one told me it is California state law to not sell alcohol between 2 am - 6 am???
That was quite a disappointment, although the cab driver told us it is probably better for economy. Yeah right…
Damian Lazarus played some really cool tracks, thanx mate it felt as a warm welcome.

29-01-12
Together with the girls and their US Dodge rented car, we went to visit Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills, Hollywood and Bel Air. Wow, enormous real estate in this protected park in Bel Air we visited. Do have the feeling though a lot of old people (or old money) lives here…
During lunch we again experienced that even small portions are way bigger then we used to in The Netherlands. Probably one of the reasons Americans are so…big…

30-1-12 --> 3-2-12
1st days of work in California. My plan was to go to a Starbucks or another ocean view wifi cafe. After searching for half an hour I said to myself, you are crazy! Look at the view from your window. Yes man, you are totally right! So I rebuilt my room and created a working spot with ocean view: "Another day at the office"

4.15 pm is ideal to start running since it will be sunset at 5.15 pm. Watching some surfers, palmtrees, snips (yes, the bird on the 100 gulden note) and pelicans catching the final sunbeams gives - again - a feeling of freedom.
To easily adapt to the Californian lifestyle, my evenings consist of watching Entourage :)

Tuesday January 31st The CW broadcasted the 10th episode of Ringer, a US TV-serie with Sarah Michelle Gellar as the main character. Epiqurus Agency's Eelke Kleijn & Astrid Kunst produced the music for the slot scene of this Episode :)

Wednesday February 1st I moved from the hostel to the room at Jillians place. Jillian is a hard working, hippie-Venice type of girl. She is an instructor for pet-CPR…
"Only in America".

Project Car
In the US, you need a car to move around. A lot of time this week went into searching one. This wasn't easy since all kind of rules and taxes (smog tax!!) have to be arranged. While searching and talking to car sales representatives, more and more the feeling came upon me I should be driving a convertible...
A car says something about your personality and the feeling of freedom a convertible gives applied perfectly on my state of mind of the 1st week: something I am willing to hold on to for the coming 5 months. So, this made the search not easier…What car it eventually will be I will post later on…

4-2-12
Saturday night I had a dinner meeting with Marissa Alix. Met her a couple of years ago in Miami during the Winter Music Conference. For consecutive years we partied in Miami.
She lives in LA for years now and she helped me preparing my trip and answering my questions, thank you again Marissa ;)

5-1-12                                   Super Bowl Sunday
Yes people, this is the biggest 1 day sports event in the US (or maybe even in the World). Jillian tipped me to go to a local bar called Whalers, good tip!
Made some friends very easily and while being part of the sunset, the match and Corona's it was an amazing Sunday afternoon. The last minutes were insane with a score by the Giants to win the match. Look at this humiliating, historic touchdown:
